This EDUCATIONAL SERIES uncirculated Bills are Genuine Legal Tender of the United States, which has been enhanced with beautiful colorized images from 1896 . The full colorized images are accomplished through a revolutionary new authentic & genuine colorization process pioneered by The Merrick Mint, creating a collectible work of art. In the 1890’s, there was a conscious effort to turn American money into pocket-sized works of art, which resulted in the creation of what is still regarded as the most beautiful set of bank notes ever issued in the United States: The Educational Series of $1, $2 and $5 Silver Certificates. The obverse of the notes depict a neoclassical allegorical motif, which dominates the front of the note. Only genuine Legal Tender United States Bills are used for this unique colorization process. Each Bill is in FRESH, CRISP, UNCIRCULATED condition, and was directly removed from untouched wrapped Federal Reserve sealed packs.
